Kai, a lágrima é um projeto final da licenciatura em Multimédia para a unidade curricular de Projeto. Visa criar uma curta-metragem em stop motion usando a técnica de animação claymation. A histórica fala sobre o tema de sustentabilidade. A motivação do ambiente e técnicas utilizadas foram inspiradas pelo artista de stop motion Guldies, que também dá uso à técnica claymation. 

O personagem principal “Kai” (que de acordo com o “dicionário de nomes próprios”: “Kai é um nome havaiano que significa “mar”, “oceano”, por extensão, tem o sentido de “aquele ou aquela que vem do mar”, “do mar, “marinho”) tenta salvar o planeta Terra da poluição antes que o tempo esgote. 

Neste relatório encontra-se toda a evolução, divisão de tarefas, produção e estudos do projeto e posteriormente: as metodologias de trabalho utilizadas e considerações finais sobre todos os novos conhecimentos.

Kai, a lágrima is a final project of the Multimedia degree for the curricular unit of Project. It aims to create a short film in stop motion using the claymation animation technique. The story is about the theme of sustainability. The motivation of the environment and techniques used were inspired by the stop motion artist Guldies, who also makes use of the claymation technique.

The main character “Kai” (which according to the “dictionary of proper names”: “Kai is a Hawaiian name meaning “sea”, “ocean”, by extension, has the sense of “he or she who comes from the sea”, “from the sea, “marine”) tries to save planet Earth from pollution before time runs out.

In this report is all the evolution, division of tasks, production and studies of the project and afterwards: the methodologies of work used and final considerations about all the new knowledge.
