Palram gaivotas ao alto. Faz sol. Os rapazes brincam na água sem saberem que brincam. Donos dos seus narizes, apregoam chavões bairristas. Têm sotaque acentuado e riem, riem muito. O Rodrigo empurrou o Paulo ao rio. A água estava gelada.

Seagulls screech high and it’s sunny. Children play in the water without even noticing. They hold their noses and proclaim typical Ribeira’s buzzwords. They have a strong accent and they laugh and laugh a lot. Rodrigo pushed Paulo to the river and the water was cold.
