O Bairro de Casas Económicas de Paranhos estabelece-se como um marco na história das políticas de habitação da cidade do Porto. Este projeto pretende documentar esse bairro, através da fotografia do exterior das habitações, que tanto peso têm na história do bairro, por carregarem marcas de construção antigas e de remodelações modernas. As imagens retratam também elementos que dão vida a este bairro: a vida das pessoas e a natureza que teima em se impor.

The Paranhos Social Neighbourhood is a historic mark in the habitational politics of the city of Porto. This project strives to document this neighbourhood through the photography of the exterior of its houses, which are very significant in the history of this place. They carry marks of old constructions and modern renovations. The images also portrait elements that make this housing complex alive such as its people and the imposing nature that lives within it.
