“Porcelana” surge do interesse pessoal pela vida da minha tia, uma pessoa com um défice cognitivo, que se reflete na sua personalidade, na forma como compreende e encara determinadas situações. Desde a morte dos meus avós, vive sozinha na casa onde viu a sua família crescer ao longo de quase 40 anos. Agora com a casa só para si, com o espaço e o ambiente moldados à sua personalidade, a minha tia é a personagem principal de uma história que a casa acolhe.

“Porcelain” arises from my personal interest in my aunt’s life, a person with a cognitive impairment that is reflected in her personality, in the way she understands and face certain situations. Since the death of my grandparents, she has lived alone in the house where she watched her family grow for almost 40 years. Now with the house all to herself, with the space and environment shaped to her personality, my aunt is the main character in a story that the house hosts.
