Estar numa situação pré-operatória é um momento onde a ansiedade e o nervosismo toma conta da forma de estar do ser humano. Se nos adultos este medo existe, como será nas crianças? Como se sente uma criança que está sujeita a entrar num bloco operatório?
Assim, este trabalho tem como objetivo criar uma experiência de Realidade Virtual para desmistificar o bloco operatório e quem nele trabalha. Com esta experiência será possível avaliar o uso da Realidade Virtual como ferramenta para diminuir a ansiedade e o nervosismo provocados pelo medo que uma criança passa por ter que ser submetida a
uma cirurgia. De forma a ser possível a realização deste projeto, será criado um ambiente virtual de um bloco operatório com todos aqueles que lá desempenham um papel. Desta forma, este documento descreve uma proposta de realização do projeto em contexto de estágio na GEMA Digital, fazendo parte dele uma contextualização do mesmo na área em
que se insere, passando pela referência ao estado da arte, objetivos e descrição de todo o
projeto.

Being in a preoperative situation is a time when anxiety and nervousness take over the human being’s way of being. If this fear exists in adults, what is it like in children? How does a child who is about to enter an operating theater feel?
The aim of this work is to create a Virtual Reality experience to demystify the operating room and those who work in it. With this experience, it will be possible to evaluate the use of Virtual Reality as a tool to reduce the anxiety and nervousness caused by the fear that a child experiences when having to undergo surgery. In order to be able to carry out this project, a virtual environment of an operating room will be created with all those who play a role there. In this way, this document describes a proposal for carrying out the project in the context of an internship at GEMA Digital. It includes a contextualization of the project in the area in which it is inserted, including a reference to the state of the art, objectives and a description of the entire project.
