O granito é o principal personagem, percorrendo os vários estados desde o repouso na natureza virgem até ao objecto final numa outra natureza urbanizada. A transformação desenrola-se com o trabalho do Homem auxiliado por ferramentas, na sua maioria artefactos desde sempre usados no oficio de pedreiro: os ponteiros e guilhos de aço, que abrem e transformam a pedra, os mesmos que me acordaram vezes sem conta ao serem malhados na forja do ferreiro na minha infância em casa do meu avô na vila de Abragão, local de onde eu achava que saía a pedra para todas as construções do mundo.

Granite is the main character, traveling the various states from the rest in virgin nature until the final object in another urban nature. The transformation takes place with the work of human-aided tools, mostly from articles in the office always used of mason: pointers and steel wedges that open and transform the stone, the same ones that woke me up again and again to be spotted in the blacksmith's forge in my childhood in my grandfather's house in the village of Abragão, the place where I thought it went all the stone buildings in the world.
