O comércio antigo, retalhista por natureza, dependente de freguesia assídua, morre uma morte lenta em Portugal.
O interesse deste trabalho reside em descobrir estes espaços, muitas vezes insuspeitos, e registá-los como o que são de facto: lugares resistentes ao espaço e ao tempo, congelados numa estética que já não existe.
São retratos de uma realidade que lentamente desaparece, e das pessoas que ainda a habitam.

The work developed is, above all, intended to be a record of the passing of time. It consists in portraying the inside of tradicional shops in the Porto area.
The interest of this kind of work resides in discovering these unsuspected places and create a portfolio that shows the truth of these places: time and space-resisting entities, frozen in an aestetic form, one that no longer exists outside their walls.
