“On Our Way to Heaven” é um projeto com uma forte componente pessoal devido ao facto de ser um trabalho de retrato de algumas das pessoas mais importantes na minha vida. Nasceu da minha obsessão pelo poder das relações e da necessidade de documentar este caminho partilhado por mim e pela minha tribo. Começou por uma necessidade emocional de fotografar família e amigos acabando por se tornar um auto retrato.
Sabendo que é impossível que o retrato não seja minimamente encenado, este é um projeto que levanta mais uma vez essa questão e em que medida as fortes ligações emocionais com os retratados influenciam a imagem. “On Our Way to Heaven” é um trabalho introspectivo sobre morte, amor, sexo e a procura pelo real na ficção.

"On Our Way to Heaven" is a project with a strong personal component because it portraits some of the most important people in my life. It was born from my obsession of power in relationships and the need to document this path shared by me and my tribe. It started by an emotional need to photograph family and friends and eventually became a self portrait .
Knowing that it is impossible that a portrait is not staged, this is a project that once again raises this question and to what extent the strong emotional links with the portrayed influence the image. "On Our Way to Heaven" is an introspective work about death, love, sex and the search for reality in fiction.
