O documentário pretende testemunhar o trabalho árduo e difícil de um grupo de
imigrantes vindos da Indonésia, a bordo da embarcação “O Fugitivo”. O ritual é cumprido todos
os dias, de domingo a sexta-feira, cerca de 80 horas semanais, entre o anoitecer e o amanhecer
do dia seguinte. Os seus rituais e momentos de par;lha com a comunidade também não foram
esquecidos. A exemplo de todos os imigrantes, a sua ligação ao país e à família, faz-se através da
Internet e do WhatsApp. É a boia de salvação para ajudar a mitigar a solidão. O pescador
Whaludin não foge à regra e todos os momentos são poucos para falar com a mulher e o filho
Rayyan que, quando for grande quer ser polícia. Com a morte do sogro e do pai, a sua vida sofreu
um forte revés e daí, a sua evocação, homenagem e sentimento. Homem de fé e altruísta, o imigrante não esqueceu as suas raízes humildes e, nas
Caxinas, ajudou a fundar uma associação destinada a ajudar os meninos órfãos do seu país. A
solidariedade continua a navegar no coração de Whaludin.

The documentary intends to witness the hard and difficult work of a group of immigrants
coming from Indonesia, on board the boat “O FugiLvo”. The ritual is performed every day, from
Sunday to Friday, about 80 hours a week, between dusk and dawn of the following day. Their
rituals and moments of sharing with the community have not been forgoOen either.
Like all immigrants, their connecLon to their country and family is made through the
Internet and WhatsApp. It is the lifebuoy to help miLgate loneliness. The fisherman Whaludin is
no excepLon to the rule, and every moment is a few to talk to his wife and son Rayyan, who wants
to be a policeman when he grows up. With the death of his father-in-law and father, his life
suffered a strong setback and hence, his evocaLon, homage, and senLment.
A man of faith and altruist, the immigrant did not forget his humble roots and, in Caxinas,
helped found an associaLon to help orphaned children in his country. Solidarity conLnues to sail in Whaludin’s heart.
