Construída a partir de desenhos vetoriais, maioritariamente a preto e branco e animados em After Effects, “Mirage” é uma curta 2D baseada em dismorfia corporal que segue uma personagem e o seu reflexo. Tentando demonstrar comportamentos, por mais simples que sejam, derivados desta desordem mental, toma também liberdades que pretendem mostrar a realidade imaginada, qualificando-se como thriller ou fantasia.

Made with vector drawings in mostly black and white and animated in After Effects, “Mirage” is a 2D animated short film based on body dysmorphia and follows a girl and her reflection. While it showcases behaviours, however simple, of this mental disorder, it also takes creative liberties to present the imagined reality, falling in the thriller or fantasy genre.
