Uma mulher está pensativa, sentada num sofá de sua casa, com um gato preto ao seu lado. De repente, ela vê algo na televisão que lhe desperta uma memória e levanta-se apressadamente para sair de casa. O gato acompanha o trajeto da mulher. Ao atravessar a rua, a mulher é atropelada. Há um momento a negro. A mulher levanta-se e continua a correr, sempre com o gato no encalço. A mulher tem sucessivamente vários episódios inesperados e fatais ao longo do seu pequeno percurso, com o gato sempre como testemunha. Em cada um desses episódios, há um momento a negro. Contamos sete episódios de aparente fatalidade, mas a mulher acaba sempre por repor-se e prosseguir a sua correria com determinação. No final, mesmo antes de chegar ao seu destino, há uma última fatalidade. Só que, desta vez, é o gato que more em vez da dona. Ao testemunhar a morte do gato, a mulher mantém-se parada a poucos metros do seu destino. Fica destroçada, sem querer avançar mais.

A woman looks thoughtful, sitting in a couch with a black cat by her side. Suddenly she sees something on television that triggers a memory and she rises hastily to get out of the house. The cat follows the woman’s path. Crossing the street the woman gets hit by a car. There’s a moment in black. The woman gets up and keeps running always with the cat following her. The woman has several episodes, unexpected and fatal along her path, with the cat always has a witness. In each one of these episodes there’s almost a moment in black. Seven episodes are described where the woman always ends up suffering a fatal destiny but, she always pulls herself together and keeps running with determination. Right at the end, before she reaches her destiny, there’s a fatality. Only this time, it’s the cat that dies instead of the woman. Witnessing the cats dead the women stays paralyzed a few inches of her destiny. The woman doesn’t want to go further anymore.
