A nossa curta de animação retrata o ciclo natural da vida de um pássaro, desde o nascimento até à morte. Nas 3 fases da sua vida, o pássaro vai encontrar inúmeras dificuldades e perdas que simbolizam os maiores medos que qualquer ser humano enfrenta: o medo de perder a família, o medo de ficar sozinho, o medo de ser rejeitado pelos outros, o medo de ficar sem casa, o medo de passar fome, o medo de ser atacado ou sofrer um acidente e finalmente o medo da morte.

Narrativa

A narrativa decorre em 3 fases, cada uma das fases com uma técnica diferente de animação:

Capítulo 1: Nascimento – Claymotion / Plasticina (Carolina Valadão)
Capítulo 2: Sobrevivência – Stop Motion / Recortes de Papel (Mariana Amaral Silva)
Capítulo 3: Sofrimento e Fim – Animação 2D (Aurora Fernandes

A transição entre as três técnicas vai ser feita com separadores que anunciam o próximo capítulo, em stopmotion com a mesma técnica do genérico, feitos pela Carolina Valadão.

Our animated short depicts the natural cycle of a bird’s life, from birth to death. In the 3 stages of its life, the bird will encounter countless difficulties and losses that symbolize the greatest fears that any human being faces: the fear of losing a family, the fear of being alone, the fear of being rejected by others, the fear of being homeless, the fear of starvation, the fear of being attacked or having an accident, and finally the fear of death.

Narrativa

The narrative takes place in 3 phases, each with a different animation technique:

Chapter 1: Birth – Claymotion / Plasticine (Carolina Valadão)
Chapter 2: Survival – Stop Motion / Paper Cutouts (Mariana Amaral Silva)
Chapter 3: Suffering and the End – 2D Animation (Aurora Fernandes)

The transition between the three techniques will be done with separators that announce the next chapter, in stopmotion with the same technique as the generic, made by Carolina Valadão.
