A cerâmica assume uma grande parte da cultura portuguesa e a olaria é considerada uma das mais antigas indústrias. Antigamente, as loiças na mesa dos portugueses, além de assumirem várias funções, eram também partilhadas entre todos devido à pobreza sentida naquele tempo. Deixando essa marca em algumas loiças que vemos nos dias de hoje e que agora fazem parte da cultura. Beber vinho numa malga é único e alguns apenas o bebem assim. O interesse é que a malga seja branca no seu interior para que seja possível ver a borra do vinho que permite perceber se o vinho é bom. É um costume que muda a forma de beber e apreciar o vinho, e que, deu origem ao projeto. “À Portuguesa” nasceu da admiração pela tradição e cultura portuguesa, e também, pela olaria. O projeto consiste numa coleção de quatro objetos em cerâmica com referência na loiça tradicional portuguesa, sendo eles: uma malga de beber vinho, um jarro para vinho, um prato de servir e um prato para aperitivos. O azul presente nos objetos assume a ideia de mancha deixada pelo vinho e pelos alimentos servidos. Os objetos têm um caráter de partilha num ambiente de convívio tanto doméstico como de restauração.

In the past, the portuguese ceramics, in addition to assuming various functions, were also shared among the members of the family due to the poverty felt ate that time. The bowl has to be White on the inside so that i tis possible to see the ataining that allows you to know if the wine is good. It is a custom that changes que way of drinking and enjoying wine, and that originated the project.“À Portuguesa” was born out of admiration for Portuguese tradition and culture.The project is a set of four ceramic pieces with reference to traditional Portuguese tableware being them a bowl to drink wine, a jug for the wine, a serving plate, and a plate for appetizers.The blue represents the staining left by the wine and the food served. The pieces have a character of sharing in a convivial environment both domestic or in a restaurant.
